This is a great workout session ideal for anyone, particularly peri-menopausal women. It focuses on maintaining muscle and bone strength through low-impact, safe, and effective toning exercises that elevate heart rate, boost mood, and help balance hormones. You may add resistance to leg exercises with a thigh band and use a set of dumbbells between 0.5kg and 5kg, or small water bottles if you prefer. For the release and stretch segment, you'll need two prickle balls or tennis balls and a foam roller (approximately 90cm long by 10cm in diameter or a wider 15cm version). If needed, you can create a long shape using rolled beach towels. Ensure your head is supported, possibly using a small cushion or head block. Enjoy the class and finish feeling amazing, accomplished, and proud!

Relieve office posture and text neck with this quick chair release, using two prickle balls under your sit bones and a semi-inflated softball behind your lower ribs. Next, transition to a mat with a long roller, rolled blanket, or beach towel to create a cylindrical shape. A band can assist with stretches or use a scarf or tights. If you don't have prickle balls, tennis balls work as an alternative!

What I love about this class, aside from the fantastic results, is that it's suitable for everyone! With simple choreography that includes arm movements while avoiding jumping or high-impact actions, we’ll incorporate directional walking and a few mental challenges. Who knew there were so many ways to walk? We’ll also add light standing toning exercises and balance work, with optional hand weights and a thigh resistance band to boost upper body and core strength, bone density, stability, and focus. We’ll perform functional standing stretches during the cool-down to enhance flexibility and aid muscle recovery. You’ll need some equipment, but you can also participate without any if you prefer a gradual approach to fitness: A pair of hand weights (0.5-5kg) or two water bottles! A resistance band for your thighs or a thick elastic loop band.

Enjoy a fun and relaxing Pilates class that features a blend of exercises such as joint mobility, strength training, and dynamic and deep stretches, including Threading the Needle, planks, Plank Rotation, Roll Back, The Seal, The Crab, Wide Leg Rocker, and Hip Circles.

This Pilates class caters to various skill levels, with exercises adaptable for easier or more challenging options. You may want to have a Pilates softball, cushion, or rolled towel handy. I apologize for the brief microphone failure around 17 minutes in; I missed it during editing!

Join Sam for an exciting class that combines dance fitness, body conditioning with hand weights and thigh bands, and simple barre exercises, concluding with cool-down stretches. You will leave the class feeling fabulous! Please bring hand weights appropriate for your strength (0.5kg to 5kg) and an optional thigh band. This is a barre-less class, but if you need balance support, feel free to stand near a wall or use a sturdy chair back.
