Service Description

This is a friendly, relaxing, easy-to-follow class designed to strengthen back and abdominal muscles, improve posture, balance and flexibility and reduce stress too! There is a mix of standing and mat-based exercises for all levels, with suitable easier exercises as well as progressions offered as required. Pilates also improves pelvic floor and core strength and joint mobility. Recommended for everyone of all ages from hill walkers, runners, fitness enthusiasts, those ready to return to exercise, rehabilitate sports injuries, postnatal mothers etc. Each Pilates exercise and stretch is taught and demonstrated at a variety of levels to suit both the beginner through to advanced participants optionally using resistance bands or small Pilates resistance balls to strengthen, lengthen and tone tight or weak muscles. Joseph Pilates originally designed Pilates to strengthen muscles and increase flexibility. It is perfect if you need to tone up, flatten your abdominals, become more flexible, improve your posture, reduce back and neck ache, minimise sporting injuries and supplement your cardiovascular training. "In 10 sessions you'll feel the difference, in 20 you'll see the difference, and in 30 you'll have a new body" - Joseph Pilates Pilates is a low-impact load bearing class that helps to decrease the risks of osteoporosis, improve balance and core strength, increase mobility within your spine and other joints. Pilates is renowned for the celebrities' and athletes' way of looking so good and performing so well! For this class, you will need some equipment, available from Sam, a shop, or you may be able to make do with things you have at home! You will need a mat, a softball/cushion, a stretch band/scarf/rope, a block/rolled up small towel Please ask for more details if you are interested in buying new or good condition used equipment from Sam or check the 'Recommendations' page of the website. Please make sure you have a clear and safe space to exercise at home and check for any hazards including balls, pets and uneven floors! Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your booking more than 2 hours before the start of the session, you will be refunded by a credit to the package used to make the booking or by the gifting of a package that will enable you to book an alternative session. Any queries about refunds should go directly to Sam at Fitness Dynamics. To cancel a class, go as if to book the service on the website or App, and instead of 'Book' you will see 'Cancel'. All your bookings are available to see in your profile area. For any problems with cancelling or last-minute emergencies, please message Sam.
